2 members of the House of Representatives download PDP for APC

Two members of the Popular Democratic Party (PDP) in the House of Representatives have defected to the Congress of All Progressives (APC). Deserters are Zaphaniah Gisalo, Yusuf Tijani, members of the House representing the Abuja / Buari municipal area council and Kogi state respectively. Gisalo is the chairman, house committee in the FCT area council. Desertion that took place on the floor of the House was met with protest by PDP lawmakers. The House is threatening to take such action after Magu's failure to honor the invitation extended to her by the commission in public petitions on Mrs. Jonathan's request.
